How To Use (Simple Instructions)

Clean the surface first
Remove loose dirt and dust. Dry the metal completely. -
Polish to clean and restore shine
Apply a small amount of polish to a cloth and work the area using firm, consistent pressure. Dark residue on the cloth is normal and shows oxidation/tarnish is being removed. If the cloth does not darken, that specific metal may not be polishable. -
For brushed or matt surfaces, restore the original texture
After polishing, use the included sandpapers to recreate the brushed/matt structure. Use steady, consistent strokes in the direction of the original grain.
General guidance for grit selection
5000 grit: commonly used for gold, silver, aluminium, copper, and brass to refine and recreate the original brushed effect
2000 grit: commonly used for stainless steel or platinum to recreate the original structure
1000 grit: use carefully only if a coarser structure is needed (for example if 2000 grit is too fine)
